Designation Oracle DBA with RAC
Job Description
General Duties/Tasks: -
- Installation and upgrade of Oracle software
- Application of Oracle updates and fixes - Tablespace management
- Backup and recovery processes
- Database security architecture and maintenance
- Performance monitoring and tuning using Oracle
- PeopleSoft knowledge a plus
-RAC experience is must.
- Well conversant with 10g.
Desired Profile
Experience:
Atleast 5+ years of Oracle DBA expeerience.
Must have worked with 10g.
Good RAC experience.
Leadership skills:
- Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, team members and management
- Maintains an effective relationship with customers, team members and management
- Provides input in the development of tools and processes to increase team productivity
- Builds confidence and trust with customers
- Displays effective analytical skills
- Effectively manages scope and customer expectations on individual assignments
- Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues
- Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers.
